About The Event
Come and join FarmerJawn and Chef Tonii Hicks as they team up for a five-course dinner on Sunday, January 22nd at the farm’s greenhouse at Westtown School located at 1225 E. Street Road in West Chester. The dinner will commence at 4 p.m. following a cocktail hour beginning at 3 p.m. The series will showcase a different chef and local beverage company each month.
The five-course dinner is priced at $250 per person. We will begin with passed hors d’oeuvres, including endive boats with red beet hummus, ground beef meat pies, and sweet potato croquettes. For dinner, guests will enjoy Beet Crudo; Carrot Soup; Grilled Octopus; Chicken Roulade; and Hicks’ signature Sock-It-To-Me Bars — pound cake with pecan frangipane and coffee Chantilly. There will also be a vegetarian menu for herbivores. The event will seat up to 80 people, with music and dancing also featured. Wine will be provided by Wayvine Winery & Vineyard, a Nottingham-area winemaker.
A portion of dinner sales will be used to provide CSA memberships with 12 weeks of produce to 50 families in the spring, and another 50 in the fall.
