About the Event

Kokedama is a centuries-old Japanese form of garden art that is closely tied to the practice of bonsai. Kokedama involves using a moss ball as the supporting and the focal point for a tree, shrub, or plant. These gorgeous moss balls bring a unique touch to any home and are an awesome craft for cuttings or plants that you’d like to have a new look without repotting. In this workshop we’ll give a step by step hands-on tutorial on how to make your very own Kokedama to take home! This is a great activity for the whole family, and a great way to bring something new and fun into your space! For beginners and experts alike, this is an amazing opportunity for all plant lovers! All ages are welcome!

Led by Natasha Robertson (she/her), FarmerJawn Greenery Retail Horticulturist.

You get to take home:

  1. Custom Kokedama Moss Ball
  2. Kokedama Care Guide

This class will be held outdoors weather permitting. Please enjoy a 10% discount shopping day of event only.
