About the Event
Kokedama is a centuries-old Japanese form of garden art that is closely tied to the practice of bonsai. Kokedama involves using a moss ball as the supporting and the focal point for a tree, shrub, or plant. These gorgeous moss balls bring a unique touch to any home and are an awesome craft for cuttings or plants that you’d like to have a new look without repotting. In this workshop we’ll give a step by step hands-on tutorial on how to make your very own Kokedama to take home! This is a great activity for the whole family, and a great way to bring something new and fun into your space! For beginners and experts alike, this is an amazing opportunity for all plant lovers! All ages are welcome!
