About the Event
"Flowers" - a summer series created by FarmerJawn Philly to highlight the beautiful relationship between music and plants. Naturally, it takes place in an outdoor garden where musicians and vocal artists are welcome to share their craft. The name of this event is a play on an industry saying, "Give them their Flowers" ... Flowers Open Mic and Jam is a creative space for artists to perform a 10-minute set and be rewarded a cash prize based on audience decision. Every Thursday, one band or artist will win a cash prize equal to 20% of ticket sales or $100, whichever is greater AND of course, Flowers. Sign-up begins at 4:30p. Event runs from 5p-8p. It's BYO Food, Drinks, Blankets, Chairs, etc.
